- What is Contact Point?
- Contact Point is a monthly networking lunch for Cambridge business people.
- When are the lunches?
- From 12:30 to 2:30 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
- Where are the lunches?
- At De Luca Cucina & Bar, on Regent Street in the heart of Cambridge.
- How much does it cost?
- It costs nothing to register for the lunches. Each lunch costs only £15. You pay on the day.
- What happens at a lunch?
- Contact Point is a relaxed, informal, business networking group. You will receive a glass of wine (or soft drink) when you arrive and will have some time to network. You will have a choice of meals for your lunch. After the meal you will change places for your coffee to give you a chance to meet more people. Don't forget to bring your business cards.
- Do I need to book?
- We would like you to book so that we can tell the restaurant how many people to expect. If you have booked but something comes up and you find you can't make it then please cancel your place so that we can keep the restaurant informed. Also, when you book, your name appears on the booking list and people know that they can meet you there. Business people network with a purpose - e.g.: developing a specific business partnership. If you fit that purpose and your name is on the list, you increase the chance of being the first person they want to meet, thus making your networking day even more worthwhile.
- How do I book?
- Once you have registered for Contact Point you are able to log-in. Once you have logged-in you can then book or cancel your place at the next lunch.
- How can I change my details?
- Once you have registered for Contact Point you are able to log-in. Once you have logged-in you can amend your personal details and tell us about your business(es).
- I've forgotten my password. What can I do?
- We can't tell you what your password is because it is encrypted in our database. But we can reset it for you. Email us on contact_point@pro-fuse.co.uk or phone Kath on 07776 064 393 and we will reset your password and you will receive an email with your new password in it. You can then change it to something more memorable through personal details once you've logged on.
- I have a food allergy. Can I still come to the lunch?
- If you have any allergies please let us know through your personal details so that we can tell the restaurant. They will do their best to find a solution.
- Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
- Yes it is.
- Who organises Contact Point?
- Contact Point is run by Kath McGuire and Geoff Hubbard at Pro-Fuse.
- I love your lunches, can I bring a collegue or business contact?
- Please do! Ask them to register their details so that they can receive email updates too.
- I don't have a email address, can I still register?
- Yes. Please contact Kath on 07776 064 393 and she will help.
- I'm leaving Cambridge and want to take myself off the Contact Point list. How do I do it?
- Go to your personal details page and select the box that removes you from the list. We will then take you off the list.
- I don't actually work in Cambridge but I want to build my Cambridge contacts. Am I eligible to join?
- Certainly. Contact Point is about Cambridge-based business networking so is open to anyone with a business interest in Cambridge.
- I like your website and would like to use it for another networking event. Who do I speak to?
